Eargasm Audio Video (EAV) was founded in 1998 by owner-operator Andrew Barnett.  Born and Raised in Knoxville, TN, with a degree in Electronic Engineering, over 15 years of carpentry experience, and a passion for audio and video, Andy offers his clients a full menu of enhanced experiences. Andy is a hometown boy and is proud to serve the community he cares about. EAV serves Blount, Loudon, Sevier, Anderson, Jefferson,and Knox County residents. 

 

EAV has been a thriving business since 1998 because it has been built on client referral.  Andy's love for audio/video, his great understanding of technology, exceptional attention to detail, and design makes him stand out from the competition and an expert in his field.

 

The philosophy at EAV is that electronics are an essential part of your home.  Big Box stores can’t give you the kind of system-wide approach to designing and wiring all the components involved.  Andy's belief is that in dealing with one expert capable of doing it all, the client is provided an enhanced experience.  This belief allows Andy and the client to develop a lasting relationship based on trust.

Andy is no "wire monkey" mindlessly running wires throughout your house for a home entertainment system with no thought to practicality or your future needs.  Andy provides a wiring design that maximizes enjoyment now with allowance for future modifications. If you are building a new home, he carefully discusses design options with you and your builder to structure your wiring with a full integrated approach.  He even specializes in custom speakers that match the paint in your home and office. When retrofitting an existing structure, those decades as a framer and trim carpenter tell him exactly what can and can’t be done to keep your new system as visually discrete as possible.

When Andy is not working on a project, he can usually be found out on the lake with friends and family. If you hear killer sound wafting off the gentle afternoon waves, that's Andy's boat! And he can give you and your family that same great summer on the water sound.
